From the First Pour to the Next Adventure
Why Here? Because Nowhere Else Comes Close
Blue Mountain Brewing Co. isn’t just a brewery; it’s a tribute to the outdoors, to crisp air, wild trails, and moments that make you feel alive. Inspired by The Blue Mountains and fueled by the spirit of adventure, our beer is made for powder days, summit hikes, switchback rides, and golden-hour campfires.
And there’s nowhere else we’d rather brew it.

Our History
What began as King Brewery later became part of Thornbury Craft Co., evolving into Thornbury Village Brewery—the birthplace of Blue Mountain Light Lager, a beer that quickly became a local favourite. As the brewery grew, so did the vision, leading to the launch of Thornbury Craft Co. Brewery and, finally, the transformation into Blue Mountain Brewing Co. in 2024.
The name may have changed, but our commitment to brewing high-quality, adventure-ready beer never will.

Brewed with Some of the Purest Water on Earth
Great beer starts with great water. The Blue Mountains are known for their outdoor adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and pure, award-winning water. And that water is the foundation of every beer we brew.
Sourced from one of the cleanest natural aquifers in North America, it’s naturally filtered, crisp, and packed with the perfect balance of minerals to give our beer its signature smoothness and refreshing finish.
It’s a difference you can taste. We wouldn’t brew with anything less.
Meet the Crew Behind the Brew
Behind every great beer is a great team. Led by James Wilson, our team is all about tradition, innovation, and a little bit of adventure in every batch. We brew the kind of beer we love to drink: clean, crisp, and perfect for wherever the day takes you.
James Wilson
Brewmaster
The Brewmaster Who Brings It All Together
Brewmaster James Wilson knows that great beer is all about balance. He’s passionate about crafting brews that are clean, true to style, and seriously good—and if you ask us, he nails it every time.
His love for beer kicked off after a trip to Europe, where he discovered a world beyond light lagers and started chasing flavour in every pint. Back home, that curiosity turned into homebrewing, which turned into a career (and an IBD Brewing Certificate to back it up).
When he’s not brewing up something new, you’ll find James on the rink, out on the golf course, or exploring the trails with his dog Riker.
Beer's Cold. Get over Here!
